Coolpix S9100 ถูกอัดมาด้วยซูมขนาด 18 เท่าแบบ ออพติคอล แถมเป็น ED Glass ซะอีก ใครเคยใช้เลนส์ที่เป็นแบบ ED Glass มาแล้วก็จะรู้ดีนะว่ามันช๊าดดดดดด..ปานใด เทียบเท่ากับกล้องแบบฟิล์ม 35 มม.แล้วจะมีทางยาวโฟกัสเท่ากับ 25-450 มม.

Coolpix S9100 ใช้เซ็นเซอร์รับภาพแบบใหม่ ที่เรียกกันว่า Backside Illumination CMOS Sensor (คราวหน้าผมจะเรียกย่อๆแระกันนะว่า BIS) ที่ให้ภาพที่มีคุณภาพสูง Noise ต่ำ จึงใช้กล้องได้ดีในการถ่ายภาพแม้ในสภาวะที่มีแสงน้อย การใช้ ISO สูงๆ อ่ะ..ไม่แค่นั้นเค้ายังใส่ระบบ การถ่ายภาพต่อเนื่องแบบ superior หรือเหนือกว่าการถ่ายภาพต่อเนื่องทั่วไปมาไว้ให้เราใช้กันอีกซะด้วย เค้าว่าในการถ่ายภาพแบบสภาวะแสงอัน(ต้อย)ต่ำเนี่ยะ^^ เค้าจะใช้วิธีการบันทึกภาพด้วยความเร็วสูงหลายๆภาพแล้วนำมารวมกันเป็นภาพเดียวที่ดีที่สุด โอ้โห ! สุดยอดแสนรู้จริงๆนะครับ แหะๆๆ การทำงานแบบๆนี้จะถูกใช้ในโหมดการบันทึกภาพแบบ
Night Portrait mode/Backlighting mode/Night Landscape mode เดี๋ยวกล้องเค้ามาได้ลองดูแล้วจะมานำเสนอนะครับ

Coolpix S9100 ใช้จอ LCD แบบเดียวกับ D-SLR หลายๆรุ่น จึงให้ภาพที่สดใส คมชัด แบบว่า Bright and Clear กันเรยเชียวครับ แถมข้อมูลบนจอดูง่ายอีกตะหาก น่าใช้จริงๆครับ..^^
-ฟังก์ชั่นการถ่ายภาพอันหลากหลาย
เน้นๆกันไปเลยนะครับว่า กล้องใหม่ๆของ Nikon หลายๆรุ่น จะใส่ฟังก์ชั่น Easy Panorama มาให้โดยสามารถเลือกได้แบบแนวตั้งและแนวนอน อันนี้หากผมหยิบยืมไปถ่ายภาพพระประธานในโบสถ์แคบๆ ไม่รู้จะใช้ได้ป่าว เดี๋ยวค่อยลองกัน ...เอิ๊กๆๆๆๆ^^
555+ อันนี้ที่ผมชอบมากเลย คือ Pet Portrait Mode ตอนแรกๆ ผมเรียกมันว่า ถ่ายหน้าแมว 555+
หลักการคือ คล้ายๆกับ การถ่ายภาพบุคคล คือกล้องเค้าจะมีรูปแบบหน้าแมว หรือหน้าสุนัข(หมา)ไว้ในตัวกล้อง พอเราเลือกโหมดเพื่อใช้งานปุ๊บ พอหมาหรือแมวของท่านหรือชาวบ้าน หันหน้ามาปุ๊บ มันจะกดชัตเตอร์เพื่อบันทึกภาพให้คุณโดยอัตโนมัติเลย 555+ สนุกมากๆครับ ผมยังแอบเชียร์พี่ๆ Nikon เค้าเรยอ่ะว่า ขอเพิ่ม หน้าเป็ด หน้าปลา หน้าไก่ หน้าหมู มาให้ด้วยในอนาคต อิ อิ เกษตรกรไทยจะได้ถ่ายภาพ ปศุสัตว์ออกแสดงต่อชาวโลกผ่าน Facebook ได้อย่างสุดมันส์ ฮ่าๆๆๆๆๆ
-พลาดไม่ได้ครับ แน่นอนเลยว่า ต้อง Full HD ครับ
Coolpix S9100 ถูกใส่ระบบบันทึกวีดีโอแบบ Full HD (1920x1080) และเหมือนๆกับที่ผมนำเสนอในรุ่นพี่เบิ้มๆก่อนๆไป มีฟังก์ชั่น HS เอาไว้ทำ Playback แบบ Slow หรือ Normal Speed แล้วแต่ชอบครับ แต่ที่ฮาๆ คือ เขามี comical effect แบบว่าเหมือน ชาลี แชปลิน หรือเปล่าโนะ เด๋วมาแล้วลองดูครับ
